There will be many first during the new era of college sports that allows athletes to benefit from their name, image and likeness.
College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving has become the first sponsor of an entire team, announced a deal with Central Florida's women's basketball Wednesday.
"As a former college basketball player and father of three daughters, this is such an honor for our organization to be able to support these outstanding female athletes and teammates who work so hard at their craft," College Hunks co-founder Nick Friedman said in a statement. "Through our partnership with the UCF women’s basketball players, we hope we can help further their growth as they look to make a big run in the NCAA Tournament this year while also navigating school and life."

No financial details were announced.
"College Hunks is an organization that cares for the community, which is clear from their charitable program that provides free moves for survivors of domestic violence," Central Florida women's basketball player Rebecca Rae Ripley said in a statement. "My teammates and I are looking forward to working with College Hunks and aligning ourselves with this first-in-class brand."
The Knights finished 16-5 last season after losing to Northwestern in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
