There's A Hellcat Grudge Match Coming To Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge!

The Hellcat Grudge Race is going to pit the star of the MotorTrend series

Impressed by Eric's ability to fix broken motors at the track, renowned Alabama drag racer Kenny Ford, the owner of Muscles Shoals' Performance Torque Converters (PTC), hired Eric as an engine builder. He worked for Kenny by day, but on nights and weekends, Eric paved the way for legal street racing on closed tracks and thereby built a reputation for having one of the fastest cars in the Dirty South. Today, all of the best race car builders and grudge racers around Muscle Shoals compete to be on Eric Malone's 256 team.

Throughout college, Alex continued to race and build her brand. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith with a BBA in marketing in 2020, she entered into the high-performance automotive industry full time as a racer, builder, and automotive content creator. In 2021, Alex and Dennis started their newest joint project, the 1XX Proof street-legal tube chassis 1955 Chevy that they built in five months and will be racing at different drag-and-drive-style events during the 2021 season. Alex will be upgrading her NHRA Competition license in testing shortly, as they look to take their street-able build in the 6-second, 200-mph range on the quarter-mile dragstrip.

Roadkill Nights kicks off the week-long celebration of American car culture in the Motor City, and you don't want to miss a second of the action. There are two ways to join the fun in person: Watch all the eighth-mile drag racing action on Woodward Avenue as a spectator, then head over to M1 Concourse to check out the Dodge Thrill Rides, live entertainment, food, and car show; or register your ride to street race, legally! There are only two classes—big tire and small tire—and $30,000 in cash prizes! Gates open on Saturday, August 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time with drag racing starting at 11:00 a.m.
